I've only seen one S so far but I have seen countless other amazing Japanese (and other) vehicles. I'm borrowing a Skyline to bop around in, some of the cars we're racing include a 500hp Nissan Silvia (240sx), a 350 hp turbo Civic, a big badass Skyline and numerous others.

It was 31 degrees up at Queenstown (The extreme sports capital of the world where I'll be staying in a lakefront home for a few days next week) for the hillclimb and today in the mid 20's for the first day of the event at Invercargill (the southernmost racetrack in the world!)

We'll also be seeing this thing! http://www.inky.co.nz/ which boasts a fairly impressive 1600hp and 4600ft/lb of torque. One of the guys that built this truck, also built the TVR that I'm helping out with down here.

Oh I've got pictures of Evos. There was one at the Queenstown hillclimb that actually had that intentional misfire system! It's a sexy beast!

Sportsmans show sounds like fun and Kenna sounds even more fun. Man she's a hottie! If I have to come back, at least I have something to look forward to there! Will she be in a bikini like she suggested at the bike show?!

I'm in CC until Tuesday when I go back home. I've rented a motorcycle and am enjoying the scenery (both the fixed and the jiggling varieties) I've never driven a road as beautiful as Summit Road near CC. The city on one side and the harbour and valley on the other. Just beyond words. You just have to experience it to believe it.

It's an amazing country.

 

Yeah - scenery - schmeanry - what about the EVO's - you better be coming back with EVO pictures - better yet - go to a Mit's dealer and get me a brochure! PLEASE!

I talked to a Mits dealer and they haven't got any info yet. They'll mail me a brochure when they do though (So the guy suggests!)
