Gripforce?
Has anyone here bought from a company called Gripforce? They have multiple listings on Ebay and their website is:gripforce.com. I am considering to purchase an Exeddy OE clutch kit and F1 flywheel (10.75lb)from them. Their prices seem reasonable, especially with our strong dollar.
Any input on the company and parts would be greatly appreciated.

^^Well, you maybe right. I emailed them on Saturday, they replied and we agreed on a shipped price of $450 (US). They told me to call back today to place the order, and so I did.
When I called, the guy that answered had no clue, so I fowarded him a copy of the email. He then tells me he'll have to talk to his boss. I'm on hold for awhile, he comes back and says yes we'll do it for $450 plus shipping. I say "what?" and ask him to read the email again, he say, "oh, let me talk to my boss". He then tells me that it was his boss who replied to my email, aparently he read my email wrong, so it's going to be $450 plus shipping. I ask him how much shipping was, he says $30 (UPS, 5 business days), I say fine, then he says he may not have stock (on hold again, note this package is listed on ebay as buy it now, obo). I am now getting frustrated, he tells me he can "get the part". I am basically ready to order, then he says wait, shipping is going to be more as the weight will be over 30lbs or something. Shipping goes to $45, I'm sitll ok at this point to buy, as I want this installed by the end of the month. So I confirm with him about shipping time, he says "wait", it's actually going to be 10+ business days to Canada. I stop the order, the guy was like, "but... you could always order later?" I hang up.
Anyone know of a good parts place?

I'd refer you to the guys I bought my Exedy OEM kit from, but I can't seem to find their listing anymore on the sponsor forums. And if they're not active currently, could have been a fly by night type operation.
I've asked my engine builder (from whom I get most of my maintenance parts) to see what he can come up with. Probably wouldn't be able to get anything on the flywheel front, but he did say that there are a few warehouses who he buys from that deal with Exedy. I'll post up deets later.
Flywheel wise - there are a couple of Toda and Comptech units in the classifieds section at the moment. Not cheap, at about $300 for the Toda and $200 for the Comptech, but I guarantee you that a lightweight flywheel will make your car feel different. Very good mod.

Ouch, my engine builder got back to me, the Exedy OEM replacement kit will be like $572 plus about $15 shipping, from one of his US distributors. Could have it by the weekend though.
Thanks for the info. I still have someone looking into prices and options. My plan was to get the clutch, flywheel, and ss brakelines installed; all fluids changed, and the car tuned while I am on holidays next week. But it looks as though the clutch/ flywheel will have to wait. This was all in preparation of a lapping day at the end of May.
