And I left Alberta
Yes, it's a great time (economically speaking) to live in Alberta. Don't know if it had anything to do with King Ralph being at the helm. I don't care. It happened while he was "in". Even if he was the token mascot sitting on a bar stool in the St. Louie Hotel, as long as he had the title of "Premier", it doesn't matter who pulled the strings.
Unfortunately, our buck is still down in the dumps.

You know you're in good shape when you can go be a janitor at the joffree plant and make $20 an hour
great to be in a prov. that doesn't have a deficit. the flip side is that the cost of goods keeps going up. you should compare what a buck bought in the 60's and compare what it buys now given inflation.
the other problem is that the gov't continues to tell us that there isn't enough money to fix the infastructure.

You guys may see a janitor driving a S2000 and other nice cars if the economy keeps going in the right direction!
Anyone who works hard deserves whatever they can afford

Oh I know a lot of people that work there, it's a huge employer for people that live in Red Deer. I've never actually been on site myself. My mom lives about 10 minutes from the plant right on the red deer river...
Just to let you guys know, I did my internship at various places, namely
Celanese, Brown & Root and Dillingham Construction. Are They still around?
