Yep, gonna be a hick. Taking over the lease on my dad's '04 F-150 sometime in October. Got really frustrated trying to find a used car, plus he wants out of his lease... so I think it makes sense for the interim.

So, I can start the search for a second vehicle again in the spring, as this truck goes back in Feb/March

Hmmm... Don't I have a sense of deja-vu right now??? But hey, the '04 F-150 is at least a good looking truck and doesn't look like someone melted it with a blowtorch.

Chris.

Yeah I really like it, actually. Drives a hell of a lot better than the previous-gen F-150, and the power is decent.

I'm just going to have a hell of a job on my hands in terms of detailing it. My dad and step mom are smokers... ick.

Now, all you need is a pair of shit kickers, a dog named "Blue" and Elle May in the right seat. Oh, and don't forget Dolly Parton on the CD.

Nothing wrong with driving a truck. I'm now driving a Ridgeline and my really big toy a GMC S/C 6 liter Crewcab.

I still really want a Ridgeline. Hopefully I can do one in '06.

A toy, why ?? My neighbor is getting 12 mpg out of his 6.0 Sierra HD in the city (he wants a diesel now).Terrible gas pigs. I cannot even fathom the dismal fuel economy a supercharged one offers.
