If you want sushi, go down 4th St to Sushi Towa.

Basically head east on 17th Ave take a right on 4th St and go down 3 blocks.

There are a wack load of places down on 17th Ave close to where you are. Tubby Dog, Kyoto 17, Melrose, Tai Thai for Vietnamese take out. etc. Melrose is a good place for looking at bimbos if you are into those types

On 14th Street just south of SAIT, there is a chinee restaurant that is pretty good.

Next to the chinese restaurant is a sushi place called Globe Fish. I can say this is better than Sushi Towa if not at least up to par.

Metropolitan Grills is pretty good, two locations, one on 17th Ave and one on Stephen Ave (8th Ave)

I agree, Globe Fish is the best sushi join in town, just a hassle to get in there. Don't go on there on a Friday or Saturday night for sure.

Good higher end restaurants on Stephen Avenue? I went to a couple, but I can't recall their names, perhaps one of the locals could help out.

Last time I was in Calgary, I walked into the FlamesCentral bar right after a loss to Detroit...felt like walking into the heart of the enemy. I wish I had my Oilers jersey on...

Milfs and cougars are always at Metropolitan Grill on 17th if you're into older women. Haha!
