Default It's PEEin' like a race horse out there today (rain, that is)!

For those who have been driving your cars over the winter, today is the perfect day to go out and drive through every water pool you can find (carefully). This will "power wash" the underside of your cars and get much of winter's salt and grime off way better than if you went at it with a garden hose. AND it's great drifting fun too. Not as easy as when it's snow but still really easy and a LOT of fun. Just do it carefully and be prepared input all controls to keep from spinning. If you can drift in snow, this rain will be nothing new. It's much easier and safer if you begin the drift from a stop and you are going around a corner from the stop.
If you do not exceed the "in town" speed limits, you should not hydroplane (Deerfoot might be the only exception but there aren't that many standing pools of water on Deerfoot). So go out and clean your cars and have fun doing it!

This is great weather! Sure sign that Spring is finally here. And yes, I agree with XViper, the pools of water do a fine job in rinsing out the underbodies of our vehicles. Just avoid the pools that have a brown tint to them

Left Banff this morning at 9am in the Honda - pouring rain!! My wife wondered about the driving but I said no prob. this can handle it.

Kept the revs up and hit all the curves with vigour.

Rain all the way through Red Deer but I kept it straight and on line.

Pulled in to my driveway at 1:20 with a (no mishaps), clean vehicle and a pleased wife.

Only one problem - I was driving the Odyssey!
