Default Just got weighed.

Went to the dump to get rid of some used motor oil. Can't figure out where it all came from so fast!
Anyway, I asked the guy at the scale how much the car weighed. With a full gas tank, 5 gal of oil in the trunk and me, the car weighed 3003 #s. If only I had taken a big dump before I went to the dump, I might have been able to get below a ton and a half.

Geez Dave...thats pretty heavy. Looks like its time to remove the passenger seat and start drilling the undercarriage. Maybe even remove the little door that closes onto the factory deck. Oh, and lets not forget a Spoon or perhaps Mugen battery tie down that is 3g lighter than the stock piece. Every little bit counts ya know.

I thought about getting those ultra-lite lug nuts but nah, I'll just run with 4 lugs. Oh what the heck, 2 is plenty. And the spark plug cover that says "VTEC" on it? Gonzo! Gotta be good for a few oz. Plus, I'm never gonna run with more than a 1/4 tank of gas and to save even more weight, I'm gonna keep my oil level at one X above add. The tires get Helium tomorrow.

This was the supermeet I mentioned to you when we met. What a great weekend it was - 50 S2000's, great roads, wonderful people, and the weather....stunning! (Loosely translated - I had quite a nice time )

I trust all is well in Calgary. I lookforward to the full technical write up for your innovative hood prop 'solution'!!

Take good care
