Got this idea from cthree.
Now that we've just finished spending a bundle of money over Xmas, we should have a pretty good idea what local merchants tried to do a number on us. I'll start:

Westco (cellular) -- All talk, no action. Claims to beat any advertised prices but when confronted with one, they say they can't beat it after all. I hate that.

Soundsaround -- Their "Ad Beat" isn't worth the paper it's written on. Again, big talking liars.

Samsung (via Future Shop) -- Sent in their "mail-in" rebate over 2 months ago - NOTHING!

any Rogers AT&T (cellular) -- How do they possibly expect to compete when they offer the same deal on a new cell phone (V60) BUT demands a 3 year contract @$40.00/mon. when Telus wants only a 2 year contract @$20.00/mon.?

Ricky's restaurant in Crowfoot -- They call that FOOD? Couldn't cook worth crap.

 

Visions - Their "Price Guarantee" is a joke. I purchased a digital camera from them, and not even 4 months later I found it $100 less somewhere else and they basically told me to go f--- myself.

Northwest Acura Service Dept. Swirled the shit out of the paint on my RSX. Would not work with me to make me happy. They claimed the swirls were already there... but I know they weren't.

I'd like to warn against one of my competitors in the mattress business but I feel it is not a good idea to do so.. lets just say I was shocked by their prices.

It notes on their website that they have a lifetime price guarantee. The only catch is the item has to be current and not a discontinued item. We all know with technology changing as rapidly as it does, items don't remain current for long.

Write a letter to the head office.

UNIVERSAL FORD- I shipped my S in from Ontario thru them , they are rip off artists , not only did they scratch my hood to the tune of 800 and only pay 500 for it , they charged my for a 800 propack protection kit an NEVER did it , instead they did a 150 detail and passed it off as done ! , Needless to say there is a lawsuit ongoing , ....oh ya and a tire job where a front rim was On the he back and vice versa , that cost 3000 damage ! ...recommend Crowfoot Honda - Good S tech there and they seem to give a crap !
