Default Need idea for temporary fence

I've been in my new house for about 2 weeks now and need a temporary fence for my dog. My 60 pound dog will not take off when I let her outside to do her business, but now that the ground is wet due to the snow, she comes back with wet/muddy paws. (I knew this was going to happen, but I've been so busy getting settled that I ignored it until now). I'm going to spread some gravel around and was going to use a few lengths of rebar pounded into the ground with some plastic snow fencing. Then it occurred to me that I probably won't be able to pound the rebar into frozen ground.

Any ideas?

I think you can get temporary chain link fence that is free-standing.. this is what I'd try to locate

OK, driving a piece of rebar into frozen ground is a lot easier than I expected.

4door, Home Depot has a selection of 5 or 6 different types of fencing you can use with this.

Frozen Ground? When does it get cold here?

No wonder you guys drive your cars in "winter"

we get awsome winters normally..
through out the whole winter... there is like 5 days that make it extremly difficult to drive the s2000
other then that... it snows.. and melts and its nice to drive it
