Default new engine and dead battery?

I got my car back with a new engine and then later just after a 40 minute drive I couldn't start my car back on for some reason, had to get a boost, now it seems fine. Dave pointed to a dead battery.

Battery is stock from the factory, been in since early 2002.

Check your alternator wiring for loose connections, loose belt, low dilectric battery level, etc.
