Okay, finally got a few pics of the suspension change.
The setup is Tein coilovers with EDFC (Electronic Force Dampening Controller).
Basically, it allows you to change the dampening force from within the car. Front and rear settings are independent so you can control the front rear dampening bias to your preferences.
Control unit:
It is about a 1 inch drop or a one finger gap
Oh, also with xviper put on a Fujitsubo exhuast, best exhaust for the $ imho. It is a bit deeper than stock under 4k rpm but over that, it breaks out and screams in a good way without droning, snapping or cracking.
Also, i don't have a pic of it but put in some half shalf spacers as well to prolong the life of the half shafts after the drop.
OT - Saw your car on 17th. Ave on Saturday...nice clean ride...Silver my favourite colour... I still have a soft spot for the S and may still pickup one some day...
Have you tried the various settings and how are they ??

Oh really, there will be two S's down there a lot this summer
As for the Flex w/edfc:
For daily driving, anything in the range of (1-7) is too rough, (8-15) is stiffer than stock but has good feel. On a smooth road or highway, it is just gold.
So far I ran on :
8F/8R - stiff but a bit too stiff for daily driving, good for aggressive smooth roads.
12F/14R - slightly stiffer than stock, but don't have that constant twitchyness from minor road imperfections. It provides good rebound off dips and smoother bumps.
4F/6R - too stiff for our roads, I am sure this would be a good setting for the track.
The lowered feeling is nice too, sometimes you corner and you feel like it is on rails even more so than stock. However, i think corner speeds at stock height and lowered are similar, I have to pay closer attention to corner speeds now and compare to when I was at stock height and suspension.
Overall great system, I'll have to see how it holds up in the winter time, that is the true test.
Mine has been lowered since day one with no issues. After just driving a stock 2006 I still prefer the setup. My car is more responsive which imo makes the car even more fun to drive.
By the way we just delivered the first new grey S2000 on Sat. The color is definitely a winner. This year the interest in the S2000 has been amazing. Good to see!
Dylan, you can lower to a one finger gap no problem. With our Volks, the offset is perfect and the tires will tuck in a bit if you are using the stock RE05s and there will be no rubbing. This also depends on how stiff the springs are, stiff enough and the chances of rubbing is way less.
