Do it! It will cost you less for the install down here since they have experience doing mine, it should cut 3-4 hours off the install

Edmonton roads, yikes, might want to consider the Zeal B6s, a bit softer, might be better for Edmonton.

The roads up there are pretty bad, my alignment and rears shocks essentially died after visiting up there.

Definitely looks hot lowered, but I always wonder if it actually translates into better handling as well. I always see stock S2k's with FTD at auto-x... But then again, I understand not everyone is looking for better handling and it also must be nice to be able to adjust the ride stiffness to your liking!

P.S. An example: Last year, a very good driver took my car out on a fun run at auto-x and came within 2 seconds of FTD. That's with stock street tires and the suspension spacers still in...

I think the Stock setup is a very good setup and would agree that stock vs lowered would be close. If you lower it without tuning the alignment, weight balancing and other adjustments, the handling could be worse than stock. For my setup, cornering speeds feel a bit slower since my confidence with the new setup isn't there yet but the lowered center of gravity makes you feel that you are going faster through them but the speedo doesn't tell you that.
