Hey guys,

I'm pretty new on the forum but I've owned a MY00 for a couple years now. I'm planning on taking a road trip down to Cali this summer, and want to buy the wind deflector that goes on the hidden compartment, as my model year didn't come with one.

Yellowhead Honda quoted a new one for me at $521, so I've been looking through the FS forum on here trying to hunt one down. There are a few on here, and prices vary from $75 to $175 (USD). I was wondering if you guys know of a place where I could get one locally in that price range, or if there are any trustworthy sites that have new ones listed in that price range.

Also, I've found on here that ricks2k.com has some wind deflectors that are taller than the stock height, and was curious as to whether anyone has had any experience with it, and whether the extra height makes a noticeable (and most importantly worthwhile) difference.

Thanks in advance,
Yuriy

I have the Rick's 7/8 sized one, in tinted lexan. Works well! Definitely better (in cutting down the wind roar) than the stock one. I also have the windblocker thingies that go into the headrest, also from Rick's. The two pieces together work well.

With the taller deflector, you have to be really careful to be sure it is upright when putting your top down. It's tall enough to interfere with the roof when it's going down.
