I have few reasons to go out to the coast. The main one is to drive whatever "toy" I have at the time. For me, it's therapy. Traffic is only bad at certain places along the way and at certain times of the year. When I go, I'm never in a hurry so I don't mind looking at the scenery if traffic slows down. As for the bugs? They wash off. My front end and rad are protected.

When I went to Sylvan Lake the past Saturday, my god LOTS of dead bugs on my bumper and windshield. Good thing I got those front grills and they really really help and are very functional. One huge moth got sliced in half by the grill somehow When I washed the grill, I just took it off from the front bumper and spray it thorougly with water and clean it off with some car wash soap. My radiator only had a few bugs on it, just the small ones that managed to fit thru the wholes of the grills...

how bout just putting those mesh nets u can buy at canadian tire or something? they seem to be really small (hole-wise) and very inexpensive! ....although the holes may not be big enough to get enough air to the radiator?

If you're talking about the the block heater cable, it just runs under the mesh since it already rests on the bottom anyway. Even if just one of you guys are down visiting, I can make up as many as you need, show you how to install it and you can go back up and do it for the others.

As for the AB/BC meet, it would be great but I don't always get holidays when I want them. This is the same for VTEXTC so we'd have to wait and see what dates you pick.
