Summer is all but over here. Did the math... I put on a depressing 1731 kms this season.

I need to move!

Thats the kind of mileage I was putting on my S2000. Fiscally, it only made sense to sell it, and thats the main reason why it was sold. Those exhorbant monthly payments have since been redirected towards my new house, which I hope to have paid off in 8 years or less.

Ouch! I put on over 7,500 km in July and August. But now with the truck I think the S2000 will probably only see 200-400 km a month over the winter

Man, I hate the winter...I have to use the whitemud every day to commute to work and when there is snow and I have to change lanes...Even with snow tires, it's so unbeleivably tense.

Every lane change with snow packed roads makes my sphincter muscle tighten up so much it almost drops out of my ass!

yeah funny

Only thing more depressing than those many km's is the real estate market here.

300K is the average house price in Calgary, but represents a big number here - like top 1 or 2% of the market. Coming up on 90 days on the market and only one comparable sold during that time. I think we might end up cutting the budget in Calgary in half, buying one right away and just sitting on two houses until this one sells.

I envision using the car a lot more with the number of "fun" roads available around Calgary. Around here there's not much to be had... straight line g's get old pretty quick - I need some lateral ones too!

No payments for me, but it's like any other toy, if you don't use it much, you question whether you should use that money elsewhere.

Damn thought you left already but then you were spotted eating in a local restaurant, then you had to sit almost behind me at the concert. I was feeling like I was being stalked haha!
