Possibly For sale....My S2000
Well folks,
I'm beginning to think that come spring time, the S2000 may have to be sold. This thought comes from the fact that I may be getting scarily close to getting "hitched" within the next year or two. Marriage means a house, a mortgage, kids and the white picket fence. Here are the goods:
2001 Spa yellow Honda S2000
Limited Edition Canadian model.
Hard Top
Car cover
OEM CD changer
Seat back net pockets
Front Chin Spoiler
Rear Spoiler
Side Strakes
Black Chrome badging
And now for the kicker....only 2,800 KM.
I'm not definate on selling at the moment, and depending on my girlfriend's employment situation, may end up keeping it. if not....she'll have to go and hopefully to a good home. I would be asking somewhere in the region of $52,900 since a new one priced with options nears $59,000. This car has NEVER seen rain, and has been zaino'd regularly.
Lemme know your thoughts.

HAHA...Shel, having read my post again I can see how that reads. Yes, you're right, the girlfriend wouldn't approve.
Tim,
As for selling the Tundra, yes, I could do that also, since my payments are about the same on both vehicles. The Tundra is so much more practical though. I'm trying to coax my parents to "finance" the S2000 for me, since making payments to them would be much better than having to make payments to Honda Canada every month. I really don't want to part with it, but if the mortgage holder says it has to go, it has to go *sigh*

Well, this is indeed GREAT news and BAD news all in one stroke.
Sorta like having your first newborn, 7# 6oz, ear and then finding out it's deaf.
She's seems to be a great gal. I'd buy her. (Oops, we're talking about the car, aren't we?
) But hate to lose you from our group. Mind you, Skitzo sold his car and he's still with us. Geez! It's like a hot and cold shower.

Hey guys,
Thanks for all the great comments and suggestions. It is both good and bad news. I was up looking at new homes today, so that is all very exciting. Mortgages with 25 year commitments sure are scary though. That said, if I buy now, and plan well, I can have a paid off house, and be retired by the time I hit 48. That sounds enticing to me.
I'm undecided as to what I'm going to do with the S. I might just "loan shop" so that I can keep the car with lower monthly payments.
S2000boy...I haven't pushed the sale of my S as of yet, so no, I haven't been in contact with Seks. Sure would be nice to sell the car to another board member though.
And no...I wouldn't for the life of me give up "hanging" with the good people from the local forums

Good news folks!
I don't have to part with the S! Over the weekend, I sold my VW Golf, and after having paid off a few small debts, I figure that I will be able to manage payments on the S2000, and juggle those with other commitments.
Lets have another meet to celebrate!!
Anyone? Anyone?
