Default PPG windshield for deal - $275

Public Service Announcement.

For anyone who is in the market for a new windshield.
Cal-Alta Auto Glass has the best deal from what I've stubbled across.

Cost will be $275 for winshield and labour.
Might be an additional $70-80 for the molding kit if a new one is required.
Job: will take 2 hours since they are careful with the install
There seems to be good reviews of them around.

Check it out.

Yup, it is a steal, since from what I remember people were paying $600-$800 for windshield replacements.

That just beat the crap of my "inside" deal from Crystal Glass at $450.00. Retail is as high as $850.00.

Is there more than one Cal-Alta in town?

Makes you almost want to drive the Deerfoot till your windshield gets schmucked just to take advantage of this.

Well .................................................. ... Maybe not!

Wow! I work next to a speedy auto glass and they can't even come close to that (well, that was 2 years ago). I'll have to see what they'd charge when I replace mine sometime in 06. (It's pitted to hell)
