Default Regina Meet (Updated)

It is Official
Sunday, August 7th

Tentative plan is as follows, please plan for the following. Time is subject to a bit of an adjustment.

Meet at Tim Hortons at 1 PM.
2105 Victoria Ave E
Regina, SK

Victoria Ave East is the Transcanada highway, so this is easy to find.

Coming from Winnipeg, just head west until you see a Tim Hortons. It'll be just a minute or two inside of the east end of Regina.

Coming from Saskatoon, just take the Ring road east, and then exit off Victoria Ave to again head east.

We will stick around Tim Hortons until 2 PM (ish). From there we will head out to Ft. Qu'Appelle and do a bit of a scenic drive. The drive will be approx. 2.5 hours based on what Wade figured.

We'll get back into Regina around dinner time. From there people can go do their own thing, or we'll all grab a bite to eat somewhere decent.

After that, maybe a bit of drinking...

If looking for a hotel, these are located close to the meeting place:

Super 8
2730 Victoria Ave E
(306) 789-8833

Comfort Inn
3221 Eastgate Dr
789-5522

If you have any questions on whats going on, PM me. If it's after 4 PM on Saturday, I'm already on my way... so call my cell. (403) 307-1575

-Dylan

lude2s you should go out to Autocross in Winnipeg there are 2 other guys who have S's that race there my buddy Rob Polsom and Gord Zacharias. If you want to learn how to drive your car to the max hook up with them. They are both excellent drivers! They are good dudes and sometimes on here! I know there are probably like 30 S2k's in Winnipeg! Most owners don't lurk on here though!

Yeah, i met one of those guys a couple weeks ago at the tech inspection day for autocross. I think it was rob (silver s2k). Definitely gonna try to get out there a few times this summer. Work just doesn't allow time for it right now. Didn't realize there were that many S's rolling around winnipeg. Seen 2 so far this year.

I left Winnipeg a year ago, and I knew of only one other Spa. The owner of Palatal on Pembina. I would see quite a few older people driving an S that probably don't know this site exists or can't be bothered.

lUDE2s Where did you pick up your car if you don't mind me asking?

I'm going to have to skip out on coming there in June. I just sold my house, so I've gotta get things taken care of out here before I do any travelling.
