hapa: You had a spa yellow s2k in winnipeg?? Only ever new of one and that is Manly. His parents own Palatal.
I purchased my S off of some young guy who had it very briefly. He bought it off some guy who had brought it here from Ontario. Was a little leery on its pasted, but it checked out through carfax and by my mechanic so i went for it. The guy approached me about buying his car and took my prelude in on trade for top dollar all as a private sale, so it worked out well.

lude2S...yeah I saw the guy fom Palatal's spa when I had mine in Winnipeg. I bought mine from Happy Honda in Burnaby and drove it back in the summer of 03. It was nice having a rare color. In Ottawa I know of 2 other Spa's and have seen 3 other Rio's......Not to be rude but I wish my color was more rare in the east here!!!!!Also in the Toronto section there are probably like 10 yellow's!

Good to hear your car worked out well. It amazed me to see how fast cars rust out here in the east compared to the west so I'd be leery of cars that were run during the winter in the east!

Yeah, i don't think my car was run at all in the winter. It was leased by an older woman in ontario before it came to manitoba. I've had it on the hoist and everything looks good underneath. No rust forming or anything like that.

Heya Hapa, how goes ?

lude2s that was me you met at tech inspections.

I'd be up for a road trip, just can't make it that weekend. If something is planned later in the summer i could probably come out. My dad lives in Regina as well so it be perfect.

I'd be up for the drive, just depends on the weekend. The detour at Whitewood through the Qu'Appelle Valley is worth the run.

Just came back from 3 weeks to the East Coast in the S. That was a lot of fun.

The road and engine noise did wear on us but I was surprised how the drive was not all that tiresome. Comfy seats!

Six hours to Regina would be a piece of cake drive.

Bobby,

Well, let's all start closing in on a date in the next 2-3 weeks if we can, so that we can have a decent turn out. Once we've settled on a date, I'll start a new thread to try and get the interest of the people out here in Alberta as well
