I can attend as group photographer if a) there is enough interest and b) the cost isn't as much as a full drivers cost.... I know, I'm sounding cheap, but I just spent two paychecks on college books

I will be at Kart Nationals for the rest of the week and since the track is next to Race city I will go and inquire about specific times and dates.

Sept 2, Monday. The folks at beyond.ca has booked Race City for 8 hrs. $200/person. The price seems to be fixed regardless of how many people sign up (so far there seem to be 35 or so interested already). Then again, how many runs do you get to go thruout that 8 hrs????????

I guess it's better if we get the track to ourself (no uninvited people). It's cheaper too!

I believe it is 4400/day to rent out RaceCity for the day. This is what i was told. I have to say, this is one experience you guys have to try. It may seem scary at first, but once your on there and you go a couple laps....it is the best feeling to actually drive out there. You will never go at these speeds on the street and you really get to feel the limits of the car.

I have friends that would really want to try this out if you guys want to get more ppl to cut costs down. Of course, everyone on the track is very mature and should not have any bones to pick. The track can be quite dangerous if ppl are not totally aware of everything around them. However, under the right conditions it can be the best time of your life.
I'm totally in for a lap day, depending on what date.

James

4400 a day, well someone is making a profit from those beyone track days..

If we do it, it will be for half the day. i don't think we would like to beat our car the whole day, think we have more respect for the ride than that.

A half day is plenty. It is very tiring.
