Default S-pods

Hey guys, I've been reading all morning about these s-pod rear speak housing units. Does anyone here have these?

What I want to do it get them installed with some decent components and leave everything else stock. Has anyone had any experience with any shops intown getting these installed and set up. For the housing alone sounds like about 300 USD and I'm curios how much more I'll be spending or if these are even worth getting on a 2000 with a stock HU.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Well its for sale but I don't have to get rid of it. The one serious buyer I had going wasn't so serious after all, and I'm not going to blow it out, so looks as though I'm going to be keeping her for another season, which isnt a bad thing by any means. BUt since I'm keeping it I thought i address one of the issues that bugs me most about the car.

If you're going otherwise stock with your stereo, I would save the money and just put in rear speakers behind the seats.

Yes there is. Here's a link to lucid automotive, they have a complete unit and you can get an idea on how to go about if you wish to attempt this yourself.

^^ He's right.

And you can TOTALLY do this yourself. You are limited, however in your choice of speakers. You need ones with small magnets. I have the Kenwoods myself.
