I think I'm drawing the line at around 5 hours. I'm not willing to drive further than that just for lunch. And Maple Creek would be almost equidistant to Calgary and Regina. My wife tells me that Maple Creek is actually one of the larger "small" towns in that area.
Unless there is more interest from Edmonton besides Seks, I think Maple Creek would be it.

Besides, we still haven't heard from HondaGal. What's the point of going unless we can meet the GODDESS of S2Ki?

Hmm, cypress hills not too far from maple creek. But depending which block fo cypress hills u're talking about though...

For me, 2.5 to Calgary, 2 to Lethbridge, 1 to Med Hat

and another ??? to cypress hills, maple creek area...

But I think there may be an alternate faster route for me not sure..

Seks, I'm talking about the block just south of Maple Creek, if we even go there at all. We're not really going to "recreate" and that's mostly what you do in the park. We need a place to meet up and have lunch.
For you, you would be best to go TransCanada. Going to Lethbridge will add time and mileage as you've got secondary roads from there to the east.

Again, let's not get too far ahead of ourselves here. Even you have not indicated if that date is any good. And we've not yet heard from HG. No point in getting all worked up about which route to take and what to do if we don't know if the date is any good to anyone besides Louie and myself.

I'm so disappointed you guys rather bake giant waffles in Sask than enjoy a few BC vanilla twisties. Bring over your Prairie Godess and we'll bring our salmon

She will NOT leave Sask. This was the only way I could see to even get her to a meet.

Very far fetch but..

How about we spend the nite (making it sat and sun) either in saskatoon, therefore attending the regular sat nite gathering?

I'm sure HondaGal can go that far

Seks, I wouldn't mind if it was in Saskatoon

I think the an overnight stay Saturday night might be a good idea. A suggestion is Cruise Weekend in Saskatoon, August 22-24. There are tons of cars in town for that weekend and 'major' cruising Friday and Saturday night. Then, Sunday is the show-off downtown. The Cruise Weekend is a major display of old classics Pre 1975. People came from all over. So if the Alberta gang can come in on Saturday and stay overnight, all the better.
