I can live with the bugs, but I wouldn't like it much.

Cypress Hills is very nice!! I have been there, worked there, and almost dumped a jeep in the ditch there..

Roads are not to bad. Accommodation if needed would only be the park. Bring a tent! or the small hotel there.. but it is clean... Long drive for a day event.

The grasshoppers wouldn't bother much with the top down.. I wouldn't worry. I would keep your mouth closed though

Just spray Z6, before the drive... then go to the wand wash
