Default sd cards

I bought a new Canon SD450 a little more than 2 weeks ago and all I have been using is the 16 mb SD that came with it. Then again, I've only used the camera once so far.

Costco here in Edmonton is out of stock on the Sandisk Ultra II 1 GB or 2 GB I don't exactly recall how much the 1 was but the 2 was $99!

Anyone know of any online retailers or local retailers that may sell those SD cards with prices comparable to Costco?

Did you try buying it from costco.ca? I bought a memory card from the online website that wasn't even available in store at a great price.

I just checked the costo website and they have the SD 1 GB Ultra 2 available for $77.99 & the SD 1 GB for $65.99. No 2 GB card is available.

I was at Costco South yesterday and they had a lot of the 2 GB cards on display. $99 each...pretty cheap!

Are they the "slow" ones or the "fast" ones. If it's the slow ones, it may not be worth it.

ncix.com

I buy all of my computer parts from them, sign up for their newsletter and they have weekly specials. I got a 1 GB memory stick pro duo for $67 shipped.

That's definitely the high speed ones...Sandisk Ultra II SD 2GB for $99 at the stores.

Reflecting on what Mike said, I checked Costco website on Sunday and lo and behold, they now have the Sandisk Ultra II 2 GB SD listed again for $105.99. I placed an order without hesitation.

If the stores are now starting to get them again, I guess I can get a price adjustment ($5'ish) when they are in stock
