Your 4th, 5th and 6th gears still work?? When was the last time you used them... when you drove back from TO?

I don't know how bad it is in other prairie cities, but we have had TONS of gravel on our roads this Spring in Winnipeg. If I put the top down for maybe 30 minutes of driving, the dash gathers a noticeable layer of dust. I just had to rant because it's seriously frustrating trying to keep it clean. Even down south in the desert states they don't get this much dust on their cars.

I was driving a transit bus the other day, sitting at a traffic light to turn left off of Dugald Rd. Just before the light turned green the rad fan kicked into high, churning up a giant cloud of dust at the rear*. Some guy on a scooter was right behind me - he basically disappeared in the cloud! I felt bad but couldn't help but laugh.
* Bus rad fans move a LOT of air, we're talking a ~50 hp hydraulic motor with 30" diameter blades.
+1 on the sucky dash cleaning... I park in a gravel parking lot too with lots of truck traffic.
