Took the S out for a little spin with S2KCal last night, hit highway 2 south past Okotoks, and let her stretch her legs.

251 before we let off. Had some more left but it was dark so we didn't want to push our luck.

Fastest I had ever been and it was totally anticlimactic. Stable as a rock.

God I can't wait until I get one of my own.

250 km/hr in the dark must be scary! I had one up to 259 km/hr in GT4 on my son's Playstation...guess that doesn't count. 230 km/hr when I first got the car back in 2000.

I had a tough time getting the car much over 210 km/hr with the top down..at the time I had a slippy clutch but I wonder if it was mostly due to aerodynamics.

 

on the road course? how? I've seen cars with 400 HP that can't go that fast on the front straight

 

245 on I-90 with top down...from 240 onward it seemed liked forever to get to 245.

 

my fastest is 180...haha... scared to get caught speeding

 

180 is enough to lose your license... so might as well go 250.

Keep it under 160 in the 110 (ask me how I know)

Previous top speed for S2KCal was 237 but I kept egging him on during the drive. Hit over 200 about 4 times total. Crazy passing people at over 200.

I know the consequences would suck for everyone involved if anything ever went wrong, but it is just so damn crazy fun.
