nice . I think it'd be fun to be able to do a project like that, but when it's done i think i'd be scared of damaging it on (well, off really) the track, since it'll be so nice.

Those guys at Speedway Performance need to figure out what a street tire is . The Neovas are every bit as fast as the RE01-R's, and in the 245/40/17 size you want both the Neovas and the RE01-R's have a treadwear of 180. Also the faster, and only available in Japan, RE-11's are also considered street tires.

Yes and no, yes if youre planning on looking really high, or, if you plan on modifying the body quite a bit, especially in that offset range, with a decent ride height and a good size tire. I know for a fact the rear will be the most challenging. From another post a user had relocated the bumper bolt, shaved the rear bumper and cut his quarter panel and overfender. And he still rubbed on a 255/40/17. Its really not worth it at his stage, but since youre building yours from scratch everything is game. Pm me more and I can help you out with what is necessary for that wheel to fit.

I was gonna suggest that, too.

Yeah, i figured you were joking to bug Ian, Trung. Still though, those guys gotta find a better way to separate streets from race tires.

Imagine how pissed Ian will be if the 180 treadwear RE01R's are ruled streets and the 140's aren't . I wouldn't blame him for being upset either.

BTW, i PM'd you
