I'm extremely disappointed in the direction that s2ki.com has taken since the end of June. I rarely even visit anymore.

"New Posts" doesn't work. The site is still slow, even with the addition of more hardware. That "Error! Couldn't create shared memory segment ()" thing is annoying. The list goes on.

Maybe all of us Prairie Redliners can just call it a year? Maybe meet back here again in the spring of '05, in hopes that this site will function properly again...

I'll stick around like the night watchman - check all the doors and windows, keep the oil in the lamp topped up and call when something really interesting comes up.

[QUOTE=xviper,Aug 3 2004, 01:18 PM] As much as we all liked the "old" version, I think the "wake" should come to an end.

I'd love to be able to do whatever I could to help.

Huh???? It's obvious I'm not your man but I do what I can by letting you know when I hear about glitches and also what people are telling me as far as their feelings about stuff in general.

I think the fact that Yogi came to our local forum to post up these thoughts when I know for a fact that he's up to his ass in alligators means a high level of caring and sincerity. I've even told him that before he goes nuts, that's perhaps he should just drop it all and go for a good long drive or two or three.

Thanks, Yogi, for your efforts. I, for one, know you're putting in the time and work to fix things.
