T & T had a promotion called "don't use it don't lose it". The promotion offered customers who purchased a new car warranty a means of reimbursement by way of a store credit in the event no warranty was used. This promo has since been discontinued. I presume other dealerships have tried similar programs.
If any of you are interested in Honda Plus come and see me at T & T. I'm usually there every day except sunday and monday.

Hmm, thought you actually get the money back but I don't think I'll see it after 7 years anyway. The next owner will like it.

If you have the extended warr. will you have to take it in for major maintenance periods like every 24 000kms?

I was never offered money back at Calgary Honda and the person told me I had 60 days after the purchase to buy the warranty.

Only 60 days? Something is wrong here. Every new car I've ever purchased in the last 2 decades, I have been allowed up to a year.

Like I said the official time frame is 60 days from purchase however Honda has had the two previous model year offer on the table for some time. For the record model year 2000's under 80,000kms were removed from this program on March 1, 2003.

hey folks, is a Honda Canada warranty NON tranferrable between provinces ? HMmmm ? that does not make any sense ?

I don't know if anyone has tried, but our group buy in here in T.O. netted us $575.00 CDN for 6 year 100K bumper to bumper , minus roadside assistance..

PM me if you all need contact no's for Castle Honda here in T.O. . They are a preferred s2000 Honda dealership we all mostly go to ?

sounds like a great price, but i already have 29,000 km's in the first 13 and a bit months...so a 6 yr 100,000 plan would be a complete waste of money for me...i know a lot of other owners have been driving their cars a lot too, so i would only be interested in a 7 year 160,000 km plan

i believe that everyone should get the insurance too as there seem to be issues with our cars such as the 1-->2 grind that could be covered and who knows what else down the road
