When to bring the S2 out?
I do go crazy... but only until I see your cars covered in salt/sand/grime, then I remember why I store it!
Or until I have to go through 2-3 feet of snow and I just go into 4WD in my winter beater, then I remember again why I store it.

Salt/sand/grime all wash off, but the fun stays. I can't speak about 2-3 feet of snow, since Calgary rarely sees that much in an entire winter.
The S2K's handling precision doesn't go away when the traction is reduced. I feel comfortable and in control on the iciest roads or the coldest days. It makes a damned fine winter car.
And I agree with MikeyCB -- it is TONS of fun at the same time.

I almost want to wait until they sweep all the rocks off the streets because my paint is still so mint.
But honestly, if there's dry and warm chinook day, I'll probably get some temp insurance and just drive it for a day...
