I keep seeing a suzuka blue one in my area (Charleswood). He either doesn't see me or is ignoring me as I've tried to give him a wave a couple times. Is it anyone on here? Younger guy, 20's or early 30's at most.

Swing by autocross tomorrow (Sunday) at the Red River Ex grounds, we can get you in a car for a ride along if you want. Runs start at 10 AM and go until a little after 1.

Actually we should extend this offer to any and all Manitobans! Come out to the next autocross on September 15/16 and we'll get you in the passenger seat for a lap. There are typically 3-4 S2000s racing or I can toss you around in the 500 hp Camaro.

It sounds like we may have between 8 and 10 people racing S2000s in 2008! We're taking over autocross in Winnipeg...

 

That would be awesome. I'd really like to get to one of those events yet and watch. Maybe I'll even be brave enough to take the Lotus for a quick lap around the track if someone lets me.

 

I am pleased to see you guys trying to get things going and get folks together.

To continue with this I would like to have someone as a CO to help lead this area. I don't really like the separation of a winnipeg thread and the rest of the forum for everything else. Do you guys have interest in working towards further the manitoba community?
