Summer compound isn't that bad in the cold long as you are careful. I often took my first s2k and even my M3 out in the dead of winter at -15 to -25 temperatures when the roads were absolutely dry and clean on summer tires. No problems whatsoever, just don't try to do any major performance driving.

 

I saw a GPW AP1 last night on Kenaston. They're slowly coming out of storage...

Got my Suzuka Blue out Friday and headed out to the McGillivray Keg for a drive and some food.

Saturday a short cruise and then on to Dylan O'Connors on Pembina for a drink.

Sunday, Grapes on Ellice at Kenaston for brunch.

Got out again on Monday to Skinners at Lockport and then on to Selkirk to see the ice jams.

I know, I know - but it's the first weekend in the S2K. Gotta get a lot of driving out of my system.

If you can't drive em what can you do?

I had the top down this afternoon in the S2k. It was absolutely awesome. How i've missed it. Just gotta have the windows up and the heat on a little and it was just nice.

I have a 04 rio yellow s2k, that i just brought up, but is pre-sold to another client. I will have another 04 rio yellow s2k for myself for the summer. Just working on a deal on that one as we speak. Should have it in about 2 weeks time.

 

I am from Winnipeg, and I am STILL waiting to take my car out of storage. I phoned tonight and they said they have to move a few more cars and will let me know by the weekend :| I am most impatient to say the least.

 

shiz dude how inconvenient, tell em to hurry up!! how long does it really take to shuffle around a few cars? 1hr at the most?
