Hi, I don't know if this will be of any help as these models may not be marketed in Canada, but the ADAC (German equivalent of AAA) tested winter tires with S2000 dimensions last year, and the top-three finishers were:

Continental WinterContact TS 790 (163-214 euros), even rated at up to V XL for 240 km/h top speed! (this is important to me as it is not very cold where I live, but easily 15 degrees below zero centigrade where my dad lives)

Goodyear Eagle Ultra Grip GW3 (132-198 euros)

Pirelli Winter Snowsport (132-183 euros).

I just had a full set of the Continental model fitted on stock rims for 660 euros flat. I'll post how I've fared with them in a couple of months. Greetings from the Bavarian refrigerator :-)
