Used APR front brake ducts/backing plates, ducting mounts
SOLD!
Selling my APR brake shields/ducting brackets--haven't needed any additional cooling since going to AP Racing brakes. $150 for the set (brake ducts, hose brackets, and mounting bolts)
These are slightly modified so that they work a bit better, particularly with stock brake disc diameters. I've added a shield that reduce the outer diameter of the shield down to the stock rotor diameter, so air doesn't escape from behind the rotor, and filled the gap caused by the layup with high temp epoxy so the mounting bolts can get good clamping onto the knuckle. I'll include new mounting bolts with these, with a pre-applied nylon locking patch.
Also included are mounting brackets for ducting. No hose clamps included, but any old hose clamps should work fine. I was using 3" brake ducting, although these would be compatible with something smaller (the shields however would need some method of reducing down from 3")
Pictures below are from the original installation. Last pic is the current state--a little dirty but still functional!

What were you using on the intake side of these?

I had made some quick and dirty composite scoops for my APR bumper--see thread here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-ra...ields-1091140/

OP (or anyone), do you know if these work with the typical ST40 rotor sizing? I'm concerned with the offset of the larger, aftermarket rotors impeding on these backing plates. Thanks in advance.

Sold!
I think I can check--I have all the common brake kit setups in CAD from when I was doing wheel sizing, I should be able to back out the clearance for them.
