Hello everybody,
It looks like this board has a lot of information available so I am looking forward using it. I just got the last 2003 S2000 from the dealer in town. I have a few questions and hope somebody is able to help out.
1. I want a clear bra on the car and was quoted 150 for the hood and $450 for the bumper, hood and mirrors. Do these amounts makes sense and do you know a good installer in colorado springs?
2. Alarm system. The factory system sounds pretty good and I saw it for about $270 on the web. I am not sure if I would like to do the installation though. Is it hard to do or is there another system/installer you guys recommend?
3. Is there a spray or some other chemical to protect the top from the sunlight?
Other than that I am enjoying the constant "what is that?" question and the amazing ride of this little car. Since it is my 2nd toy-car, I think I am happy to have the 2003 with the 8900 redline, it is just so much fun to hear the engine scream!

Seems like we're getting a few more owners in the CS area.

I had my Clear Bra done by RM Window Tint and mine was a bit higher than yours (incld Lights and behind rear tires) $800. So I'd say 450 might be great.

Haven't done the alarm thing.

Thanks for the help guys! I was actually thinking of installing the factory alarm myself but that might be too ambitious. I'll try to add my VIN later today, thanks again for the suggestions!

 

There is a guy that sells a aftermarket unit with prixomity unit for a good price. It's almost plug and play.

Thanks for the offer but I already had it installed last week and it looks pretty good.
