Default Nano coating and/or clear bra to protect car...

I've been considering a clear bra for the front end to protect from chips. Recently found nano coating systems like Aquartz and Cquartz.
I want to hear from the people with nano coatings, is it a good protectant from chipping or just from the weather? I would imagine that the nano coating on the front bumper would start chipping where rocks hit it. I've read that you can do a spot repair of a rock chip but does it just crack the coating only? or does the paint get chipped too?

It would seem to make sense if I were to apply a nano coating to the whole car then clear bra the front for optimal protection, but will the clear bra stick to the nanocoating? Will the nano coating leave an edge if I don't apply it to the whole surface? For example, just from the back of the hood to the front 1/4 of the hood.
Any info would be great, thanks!

A clear bra for the bumper, and I did front 24" of the hood, fenders to match, side mirrors, and headlights.

It has saved me a respray and the car is less than 18 months with only 13K miles.

It is low and gets a lot of sandblasting.

Nano the remainder of the car, but it won't stop paint chipping, where the clear bra will.

Cool. Really, there's and cons with each one. It's best to go with what your installer is comfortable with and is will to back and give a warranty on.

true but I'm a diy-er all the way. I'll be doing it myself.
