Default dieing to cruise...

i am growing impatient about this tricky denver weather. i put Suzanne (my 04 S2000) away for the winter and some weekends it is nice enough for a drive. nothing well organized though. i cannot wait for the weather to become more consistent so i can see a fleet of s2k's on the roads, meet the s2k crowd, and enjoy Suzanne as god intended. how many of you are impatient as i am?

Ooh, ooh! Pick me, pick me! The wife and I went for a little drive yesterday. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get out again today and see if I can get some color.

my friends call me a "mile whore." can you really hold it against me. i bought suzanne in September. i took her out today and it was amazing. she now has a total of 679.6 miles logged. i forget how wonderful she makes me feel because i drive a 94 Nissan pickup as my daily driver. the feel, the emotions, the love, and the looks. you can't forget about the looks that people have when they see this yellow roadster passing them! and i actually had the chance to drop the top this weekend. damn was it fun. i always hate seeing an s2000 when i am in my truck. i miss suzanne so much when i spot other s2k's on the road. it's hard for me to use the s2k as a daily driver considering the novelty begins to wear off if you drive it to work everyday. (unless you're rich and being rich is one thing i have yet to worry about)

I've had my S2000 for 2 1/2 years and it only has 18,000 miles on it. My lease is up in July and now I regret not driving it more. Usually if it was/is a sunny day (with no chance of rain) she comes out of the garage. But there were plenty of days that she should've been driven and I didn't do it. I'm so insensitive.

Bought mine in April/May and I already have 12k miles on her. I don't drive much, but when I do I tend to take long trips. I'm definitely getting some good use out of her!

I managed to put about 10k miles on the s2k this summer. Drove to Lake McConnehey (sp?), Canyonlands in Utah, Sante Fe, the Black Hills and Mount Rushmore in SD, all over the place any 3-day weekend I could come up with. Half the fun of the trip was the drive for me. The car is a real eye-catcher. Lots of complements.

I miss driving her too. I keep telling my gf that I can hardly wait to drive it again, as it is now tucked away in the garage and the snowmobiles are getting all the attention. I drive an Acura CL when the weather isn't up to snuff for the s2k. The cl is fun to drive, but NO comparison to the s2k. That ride is one of a kind.

I feel ya. I miss the car too. I have fond memories of driving her and can hardly wait to get her on the road again!

did anyone see the MTv true life, "i am rallying." someone took an s2000 across america. the guys must have been wearing the same clothes over and over again. there is no room for a trek across america in an s2000. consider the gear, supplies, and emergency/roadside kits for such a journey. but damn racing s2000's across america! now there is an idea i can get behind. i would have to probably rent one because i am too much of a whore to drive my own.

I had close to 15,000 in the first year and a half, so I thought I would get pretty close to my 36,000 miles. While I was during my intership for school money was a bit tight, so I didn't get to go on the drives/vacations I was planning on. Hopefully I can get some miles piled on her before July and get my moneys worth!
