Sorry we couldn't join in today. Nancy and I did drive up to Cheyenne and met Ron & Hedy for lunch and then drove around a bit in the area. No top down though cuz all of us are still trying to get over colds. It was fairly warm - but very windy (typical Wyoming).
Hey Rod,

Glad you and your wife were feeling well enough for a drive on Sunday, Hopefully next time you can join the group. Would be nice to have ya'll.

to: colo s2k, you should keep me posted as to your drives up north. i like some of those canyon's and drives. i don't mind driving up their. or even down to some of the s2 club in the springs. this a great state to drive around.
I can do that - although many of our drives are pretty short notice. Are you in Denver?

Yes, I love all of the canyons up this way - well, actually ALL of Colorado west of I25!!! I've lived in Colorado virtually my entire life and have ridden most all of it on motorcycles over the years. Now I'm enjoying it all over again in the S!!

We didn't get any pictures around Stove Prairie or Rist Canyon, but here are a few around Horestooth on the way back.

Hey Alan,

If you look on the event Calendar there are drives planned for up North, I tried to spread them around as much as I could to make it fair for everyone.

Look forward to the next one, hopefully the weather will be nice.

I noticed where you had added a few on the front end. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate with us in April, as it looked like you had at least one up around Laramie.

Rod - Nice pictures, you need to get your white S back so you have red, white, and blue. The cars look great together, but your Laguna looks funny with AP1 wheels on it.

Also, I know that you said that most of your drives are short notice, but post them anyways. Who knows, maybe some people could make them.

When we had our GPW, we took it to Kool Nights up in Deadwood. Ron & Hedy had their Suzuka Blue and my sis-in-law had her Red Miata. We had our Red, White and Blue. Now with Brandon having a Red and our LBP, we are all out of sync!!!
Red, Blue and more Blue!!

Yeah, knowing what it DOES look like with the new ('06) wheels, the AP1 wheels just don't do much for it. But it was the most practical way to go (or so I felt) to make it safe winter car for us, since it IS a daily driver for Nancy. Surprisingly, the Dunlop WinterSport M3's do handle quite good (for snow tires). If I had it to do over again (and I may still), I think the AP1 wheels would have looked better if either black powder coated or chrome. I've seen some that just the outside flat surface of the spokes is powder coated and the rest the polished look and they look nice, IMHO.

I gotta do better at this! Doubt it will happen this weekend, although the weather-guessers are predicting low 60's for Saturday. I need to work on one of my motorcycles so Saturday is out.
