Front plate
what you need to worry about is when you get accused of doing 146+ in a 35.
or
the little peep that can see just above the dash running a red light going 55
or
the track day or canyon run when you are at your 85% effort.

the dead body in the trunk...
wait what are we talking about here? Besides, you can't fit a dead body in the trunk unless you cut it into pieces. But then again, I wouldn't really know.
I don't have a plate on my Prelude either and never will. I have gotten several tickets when parked downtown for this. I got one ticket with the license plate in my front window. I took pics and showed them to the DPD. They told me "It's not mounted" and I still had to pay the fine. I consider the fine to be a part of my monthly maintence or dues and I feel fine. Other states are more lenient about not having front-mounted license plates.

it happened to me a while back..... i posted the above post at that time...... i figure only walking cops will give the tck and or if your pulled over for something else and they tack that on just because they can.

Try a search on Honda-tech for license plate magnet. I placed two industrial-sized magnets behind my front grill in my Prelude and another two magnets to the rear of the license plate. When I park in Denver I make sure to attach it while it is parked since Denver Parking patrol are ruthless with fines/tickets. It works pretty well. I wouldn't drive around with relying on the strength of the magnets.
