Default Placed my order!!!

Hi guys,

Just wanted to share this with you!
I placed my order for a 2002 Sebring Silver with Red Interior.
MSRP at Ralph Schomp...

Thanks for all your advice!

P.S. I'm finding out that the new interior will be all red, including the dash and the roll bars... What do you guys think?

Too red!! But it has some better features than the previous model. Please post some pictures you get the car (especially the rare window) .

tingyip,

I know, it really is red, but I think it will be unique.
The car won't be delivered for.... another 5 months!
By the time I post pictures you probably would have seen it in person.

I've seen a couple of yellow S2000's on the road, and they look nice!

Glad to hear Schomp took care of you. Wonder if we can get them to come off MSRP a little if we talk them up on the board.

Suzuka,

I tried to talk them into coming off the MSRP or at least throwing in some stuff.... They wouldn't budge.

When I ordered my M3 with Schomp in 1995, their price was 5% off of MSRP and they did not budge. With the S2000, it's MSRP and they wouldn't even listen to what I had to say...

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to negotiate on the S2000, though?

Suppose we ought to be grateful for MSRP... Just been noticing below MSRP on some of the threads. 2-500 less, etc. Although, those have been on the RED interior...lol. Might be a little harder to sell I guess.

Colorado isn't a good place for car discounts... I ended up going to New Mexico to get mine at MSRP, but demand was a little higher back then. Fischer in Boulder is still "asking" $3K over sticker for the '02 Yellow they have coming in next week.

I think the red interior might be a little too much for me, but I have yet to see one in person.

Waiting five months won't be so bad - at least not as bad as walking past one you just bought and won't be able to drive for at least five months 'cause it snowing up here, and the roads are all slime! I must admit, however, that just sitting in it gives me chills...! You can jones on this site 'til you get it. I did for well over a month... Good luck. See ya skiing...
