Those of us who are certain about going, lets convene ASAP and get the money together to reserve the track for the 8th, are we cool with that?
If we can get 10 people paid up, either in part, or in full (preferably full), we can for sure have our sept. 8th track day. If we can get the "potentials" to sign up the savings happens instantly! (e.g. with 15 people, we get the whole day for about $66.00!!!)
Post here on what course of action you guys recomend, and i'll relay it to the other boards!

I'm in for sure of course. Might possibly bring a friend in their Miata. $1k is certainly cheaper than I was expecting, which means we'll have to do this more often.
Motorcycles tend not to be happy when surrounded by cars, but anyone can bring whatever they want. The only rule is that EVERYONE has a helmet on when going around the track. I have to go buy one myself, and after seeing how powerfully an airbag goes off I'll be sure to get a full faced one.

On the 8th, it is cars only. No cycles!
The way the track reservation system works is a bit different than I first indicated: 1000 is paid up front by 10 cars. This reserves the track. Those 10 cars are paid for. After that, additional people have an option of paying for a full day or a half day (100 or 60).
The day starts at 8am, and ends at 4pm.
So with that in mind, I also asked about half day rentals, which they have, but they are _only on Mondays_. Its from 12.00pm -> 4.00 pm. Its 60 a car 50/cycle. Their next available half day Monday is on the 18th. They allow both cars and cycles on Monday, not on Friday.
Sorry about all the options, this is my first time actually setting up one of these!
So, basically the new question I'm asking is: Would you guys rather reserve this for the whole day ($100) or a half day ($60).
Sept 8th($100/car) or Sept 18th($60/car).
I took the liberty of reserving the 8th, just in case.

I won't be able to do a whole day, but as long as we have another 10 people I'll be able to pay for only a half day right? I can't make it before 12pm since I get off of work at 6am on that day.
4 hours is more than enough time to roast your tires.

It has been a while since I posted, but I would like to join. The only question I have is about my tires. I have a new set of S02's for the rear ready to go or do I use my worn ones with about 10% tread life left?

I'd use the new ones for saftey reasons. Also for mental reasons, the thing about a circuit, is you really can push yourself, its all the more sweet when you are able to push yourself without worrying about your gear!
Edit: Please post your preference for the day, 8th(full) or 18th(half)!
