Where was the service done at? That is a total shame, hope you can find a body shop to match the paint good.

That sucks. I would hang the kid if I caught him. Hope that it will be an easy repair for that hole. Did you take it to Denver for service? I would call them and give them a piece of my mind. Haven't seen you around on base.

What a drag...I hope you can get someone good for the body work.

As for the oil and filter, did you get it changed at the "quick lube" west of Broadway on Littleton Blvd. or at the dealership? I got my first oil change at the quick lube and DID NOT LIKE THE WAY THEY TREATED MY CAR!!! So I decided right then and there to have Rob do my future oil changes at the dealership. I had to make an appointment (7500 mile service) but got good service. I asked if I could make appointments for future oil changes and they said that would be okay...I will NOT be returning to the "quick lube". It may be a bit of a hassle to make an appointment ahead of time, but the assurance of your car being in good hands with Rob will be worth it!

It was done at Schomp...Rob was the Technician...but, I don't believe it was the fault of the tech...I drove up to Thornton, parked about 45 minutes at Autoweave, drove from there to the Springs at a friends, parked again about an hour to hour and a half, then drove home. Never a hint of oil on the ground, etc.... The leak didn't develop until after the car had cooled (obviously I didn't let the car keep running to test if the leak stopped once it warmed up). Also the car DID NOT leak once I turned it off. The filter took maybe a 1/4 to a 1/2 turn till it wouldn't turn. When I checked the level it was right at full. Btw I checked to see if the filter only had one gasket just in case...all was good. I kept checking and checking and checking...can ya tell I was concerned...but the oil level was perfect. Drove to work and checked everything again...I will continue to check it after every time I drive for the next few days...just to be safe.

Also, while at Schomp there was another S2000 under the knife who wasn't as lucky...his filter blew out about a thousand miles after his service, engine ran low....Honda is buying him an engine...anybody know who that is??? It was a Silverstone.

Did you have service done on the car or just a quicklube? Normally when you are just taking your car in for a oil change they bring it to the quicklube guys. Or are you sure Rob performed the work?

Which Wal-Mart did you get the BB? Ask Rob Locke about his bicycle racing also!

The one on 85-87...it was late though...and I was several cars away from everybody else...again, I don't know for sure if it happened there...just the most likely place.
