Default Ap1 with shaved "fake" vents?

Im not typically a fan of body mods, i prefer to keep my cars stock, however I was just wondering if anyone on the boards has ever shaved the front vents on their AP1 bumper?

I did a quick doodle in paint to show you what i mean.

I imagine you could do this by plastic welding the bumper and then sanding til a smooth finish. Wonder if a bumper with shaved vents would allow a CR lip?

Late bumper is fairly common on earlier cars and we know the CR lip will fit that.

looks kinda cool, do it and be the first!! idk if the cr lip would fit because i think the ap2 is wider at the bottom?? you would probably have to shorten the lip too.
