Default AP2 to AP1 Front Bumper Conversion?

Thanks to some road debris I will be replacing my front bumper soon...how ever I have always preferred the AP1 bumper...

Has anyone on here converted AP2->AP1?

In theory if you can convert the AP2 bumper to fit then the AP1 can go both ways to.

I dont wanna buy a bumper to find it wont fit ha ha

AP1 bumper will fit on an AP2 with no modifications needed.

Be sure to shave down the corners of the metal crash beam.

You will need new splash guards or else the ap2 bumper will not all line up with the ap1 splash guards. Or you could just do like me and use zip ties. The middle 3 holes will line up, the rest I just zip tied.

You don't have to shave the metal part of the bumper.
You do need a new center splash guard (zip ties are an option.)
Fender liners are the same for all models.
You'll obviously need a new grill also.

Can't believe you like the ap1 over ap2 though! If you like any other ap1 stuff over ap2 let me know lol i'm open to trades...
