Plug and play with AP2 ballast as well. If using ap1 it has to be trimmed to fit since it is larger.

Do you have part numbers for the AP2 Headlight and Ballast?

My question:
Will i need to take any wire harness or pigtail from the Ap2 s2000 to fit into my Ap1?

Is their anything i need to get or remove to install the headlights?

If theirs a Thread on this already please post i would appreciate it. Thanks.
I just did this on my 2001 AP1 and there was some work involved... not a ton but I am OCD and wanted it to look OEM (that includes the wiring).
-----------------
1) did you buy the entire headlight? plus the ballast and the igniters? because you can ghetto fab your AP1 stuff into the bottom of an AP2 headlight but it can and will fit like shit.
Take-away #1: AP1 headlight - use AP1 igniter. AP2 headlight - use AP2 igniter (the high voltage amplifying box that attaches to the bottom of the headlight).
Take-away #2: your AP1 head light plugs from the CAR's harness that go to the headlight are going to need to be extended to reach the AP2 headlight factory mounted HID igniter (at least mine did, on both sides). Not by a ton but enough that I had to get my wiring tools out for a clean job. Again the plugs are the same - just the wire length needed to be extended a smidge.

2) I literally transferred all of the bulbs, HID harness lead that is internal to the headlight as well as the headlight covers over to the new AP2 headlights with no issues. If you do not have the AP2 HID igniters - I would suggest getting a set for a factory install that is sealed and wont let water etc in.

3) The AP1 to AP2 front end threads are great and I would use them as a guide to supplement what I just said LOL. It should be pretty straight forward and shouldn't give you too much grief.
