ASM front lip on an 04 asm bumper

Tried searching the forum to see if I could find anything on this but no posts so far.

Has anyone tried to fit the 07 lip ( fatter lip) on the 04 bumper.

The 04 ASM bumper doesnt have the under arch that allows for the lip, anyone tackled the task of getting it to fit.

Would it be too hard to get it fabbed to fit ?

i didn't think there was a problem....even the gotuning website says the 07 lip fits the 04 asm front...

Could explain why I haven't read anything about it.

One of the local S owners with an ASM front mentioned that the 07 lip only fit the 07 bumper and the 04 bumper only fit the splitter like looking lip.

Appreciate the info though, makes my purchase a lot easier.
