We would charge about 5k if you want top notch OEM matching color and durability. This will include removal of door handles, lights, bumpers, and mirrors. Also repairing all dents and scratches. This way we can insure that the whole panel is sanded for proper adhesion.

Average won't mean anything. Get some good shops recommended (ask in your regional subforum) and get quotes.

You will get extreme ranges from people. The only way to get a good ballpark is from local shops. If you call around alto of shops will give you a ballpark range. Where you're located will have a HUGE affect also. I had my car fully changed from Spa Yellow to a 3 stage white pearl; engine bay, doors jams, and ect. Which from what I've seen others get charged, was a steal at $2800 including having every panel smoothed. Check local shops, not the internet.

So far, an average cost was $ 1,200 - 1,700 and a friend said he would start at $ 1,500.00 same color.

I think closer to $4-5k for a good respray is more accurate. $1500-2000 seems a little low....

again, if you want the OEM paint look, you'll have to spend more. $1k-2k is the Maaco look lol

Make sure you post back here in 3 years so we can see how bad the clear is peeling
