Bumper repair
When I got my car the front bumper was cracked on the bottom and the grill was loose. The previous owner damaged it when his work put a tiny ramp on a curb and told the employees to park over the curb.

I bought a Bondo 280 Epoxy Bumper Repair Kit from Amazon hoping to save the bumper. I pulled the bumper off, drilled a hole at the end of the crack, then followed the directions on the package. I used some clamps to keep the tear lined up until the epoxy dried.

The results

I also got some clips from the autoparts store to secure the grill after reading about El S2000's fix here.
Not sure what I'm going to do about paint. I have a replica OEM lip coming that I was going to attempt to paint myself. I think the lip should hide the repair. Depending on how that goes I might remove the front plate and paint the bumper, or just find a decent place to do the paint for me.

So I finally got around to finishing this. I painted the lip with paint from paintscratch.com. The match is not very good, it ended up being a lighter shade of silver. It also looks a little foggy at some angles which I have read is because of the metallic flakes not being sprayed evenly. The lip was a little tight and ended up slightly tearing on the corner as well. If I were to do it again I would spend the extra cash for an OEM lip.
I gouged up my bottom lip and am going to sand down and repaint with the same stuff you did. Any other suggestions? Did you practice first with the paint/ have you done that before? I did my wheels twice and I noticed I was much better the second time around.
I had painted some on my previous car which was also metallic paint and it turned out better than this. It seemed like no matter what I did this time the metallic wasn't laying down evenly at all. Even if it had the color difference would still bug me.
I saw a Silverstone yesterday that had the rocker repainted and it had the same kind of color difference.
