Default Caliper Paint

I am replacing my wheels in the next couple of days. Since summertime is on its way 'apparently' I thought this would also be a good chance to now paint the calipers as they are looking quite tired and I think this will enhance the look of the wheels as well as the whole car.

Anyway does anyone have any experience with this? and where could I get the paint from?

Just G2 caliper paint from Amazon. Take your time, and don't paint them red.

I just used high temp engine paint on mine.. I don't track my car but its holding up great so far.

Mine were ugly faded red and were sprayed pretty halfassed when I bought the car. I left them bolted on, sprayed them down with brake cleaner, allowed it to dry. Took some large garbage bags, split them apart and hung them around the caliper and over the strut/coilover/rotor etc.. They turned out great

I used silver duplicolor brush on kit for mine.

Very durable and holding up great.

Mine were sprayed from previous owner and didn't look that great. I opted to have them powder-coated and couldn't be happier

Power coating probably will last longer, but it'll also cost more and you'll need to remove the brake calipers and probably need to flush brake fluid.
I just painted mine with G2 Brake Caliper Paint. So far it's good, but it's only been a couple weeks so it's hard to say.
You can get the colors they offer for as low as 37-38 bucks or get custom color for 100 bucks.
If you are going to brush it on, I would suggest getting a better brush. The one that came with the paint is not very good...

True points on the powder coating. I just saw this as an opportunity to also put fresh brake fluid and replace the caliper seals

I used the Dupli-Color Ceramic paint brush on kit. It worked great and it's holding up well. I also got some Ebay caliper stickers for the finishing touch. Looks great.
