Default calling all fiberglass/poly-urethane specialists!

so i have a bumper which has received a tab damage and the tab was ripped apart. I bought a replacement portion of that tab location (about 3-4 inches down from the tab) and i bought the 3m fiberglass repair kit thinking it would work... i ran into some issues that the bumper would melt and not hold as strong. anyone know if this repair is doable??? and what material do i have to use to combine the two pieces??? the bumper with broken tab and the tab portion.... wondering if this is a doable job :/

Your best bet would be to find an experienced plastic welder.

Usually with plastic your kinda ****ed... what i usually do with some plastic pieces that arent seen (fenderwells etc) Is take small strips or .030 aluminum sheet and pop rivit the pieces together. Mabye post a picture of your damage so we can judge if this fix can be made so its out of sight.
